A disciple of Sambhu Mitra - the legendary thespian, Biplab Das Gupta has acted in several lead roles in plays which include Macbeth, Danton, Orgon and many other significant characterizations in a number of stage productions spanning more than three decades.
Das Gupta has directed "Dirty Hands" by Jean Paul Sartre, Shakespeare's "Macbeth" and Durrenmat's "Physicists". He has acted in international feature films from renowned directors like Florian Gallenberger, Nicola Clotz and Tony Tew.
Biplab has played significant roles in two National Award-winning feature films namely, "Kahini" and "Mayurakshi". He has conducted several Acting & Communication workshops.
Trained by legends like Badal Sircar, Anna Helena (UK), Debkumar Paul, Anjan Dasgupta, Soti RPD (Singapore), Janardhan Ghosh is an acclaimed Resource Person for training and grooming performers, professionals, executives, teachers and young people.
Ghosh, an Ex-Core Faculty for Dept. of Drama in Surendranath College (2015-2018), has also held the post of Trainer and Performance Designer for Padatik Theatre, Kolkata, from 2005–2016 and has been a Resident Director, of the same institution from 2005-2013. Ghosh holds the post of Secretary and Founder Director, "Organization to Give Life a Meaning", (OGLAM) Bally, Howrah and is the Sub Editor of the Bengali Theatre journal, "Natyameva". He is currently a Teaching/Research Associate, Viveka VYASA, School of Indian Heritage, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur Math, Howrah.
A Ph.D. in English, Ghosh has worked with Wlodzimierz Staniewski (Poland), John Retalack (UK), Brian Russo (USA), Wolfgung Kolneder (Germany) Anjan Datta, Jayati Bose, Subhasis Sarcar, and others. In films, he has worked with Amit Sharma, Neil Biswas, Shamik Chatterjee, Shailendra Vyas and other noted directors. Ghosh has further worked with St. Xaviers College and SRFTI.
Anjum Rizvi, an actor known for his remarkable stage presence as well as his eye for detail as a director, started his theatrical journey in 1992.
The play was, Angaron ka Shahar in Urdu by Zahir Anwar, a very well-known playwright from Kolkata, was directed by Raja Nawaz. Rizvi later worked under the direction of Mr. Sheo Kumar Jhunjhunwala, Jitender Singh, Kunal Padhi, Shyanashree Roy, Z. Kalam, Kaushik Sen, Shambhu Nath Mishra and many other brilliant directors. Rizvi has appeared in a number of commercials on National Television and has been invited to judge the IIT Kharagpur Inter-Campus Theatre Festival.
Sangeeta Chakravarty has been a long standing member of the repertory, Ensemble, and has trained extensively with the well-known Director and Theatre Trainer, Sohag Sen.
She has acted in prestigious productions such as "Shesh Bhalo", "Uttaradhikar", "Party", "Waking up", "Mahanirvan", "Bharati", "Gomukh", "Uttarpurush" and many more. Apart from the noted Theatre personality Sohag Sen, Sangeeta has worked with other stalwarts like Anjan Dutta and Dipak Ghosh. True to her name, Sangeeta is a trained singer in the Indian Classical Vocal genre. She has worked with Steps Drama & Learning.

Founder member of Kolkata’s oldest amateur English Theatre Group, The Red Curtain, Sumit has been involved in almost every aspect of theatre: prompting, stage management, lights design, set design, acting, directing, producing… The Red Curtain does good theatre for good causes. Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, an interdisciplinary artist, specializing in spoken words and theatre, is also the founder of SPCkraft, the city's only interdisciplinary arts collective. It's interesting to note that iconic filmmaker and poet Gulzar had praised Sujoy for his audio artistry in a presentation at the very prestigious National Library.

Sujoy's solo play HAPPY BIRTHDAY had opened in a queer theatre in Toronto and is now a part of an international book on gender and arts.
